Whether it's a hailstorm of bullets, raging inferno, or countless other life-threatening situations, our selfless first responders routinely defy our natural human instincts, courageously moving without hesitation directly into danger's path. It is due to their unwavering commitment and their unparalleled bravery that we hold them in our highest regard and regularly offer our services, free of charge, when the circumstances necessitate it. These extends not only to our heroic first responders but to their families, who too undergo hardships as a result of devoting themselves to the communities they and their loved ones serve. Furthermore, we fund an incredible opportunity through attendance at what is known as a Post Critical Incident Seminar or PCIS. Here, individuals who have grappled with trauma can tap into a vast number of trauma-based resources, all conveniently available in one place, to empower them to return to their crucial roles, fully invigorated. Created by the FBI specifically for law enforcement officers, the PCIS offers a safe and effective method for post-incident training in critical incident stress. Available only to officers who have been through highly traumatic events, the PCIS can mean the difference between staying on the job or leaving law enforcement for another profession due to the unresolved and unexamined effects of critical incident stress.
